Událostí módních přehlídek v Paříži v roce 1929 byl návrat k prodloužené linii sukní a šatů. Jasně červené hedvábné šaty jsou dokonalým příkladem elegance třicátých let, která oproti předchozímu desetiletí znovu podtrhuje ženskou siluetu – útlý pas a oblá ňadra a boky. Ideálu vyšší štíhlé postavy je dosaženo střihem šatů jemně obepínajících kontury těla až ke kotníkům. Minimalistické šaty, jejichž atraktivita spočívá „pouze“ na luxusní hedvábné látce a perfektním střihu, svědčí o noblese a vkusu majitelky. Aby šaty dokonale sedly na tělo, používal se ve třicátých letech tzv. šikmý střih, kdy se střihové díly pokládají na látku diagonálně. Šaty pochází z majetku Bohuslava („Bohuše“) Riegera ml., který byl v období první republiky diplomatem. Do roku 1948 vlastnil zámek Maleč. V letech 2019–2020 je spolu s dalšími oděvy ze sbírek Moravské galerie restaurovala Andrea Malinovská. /// 

The sensation of the 1929 Paris fashion shows was the return to the elongated line of skirts and dresses. The bright red silk dress is a perfect example of 1930s elegance, re-emphasising the feminine silhouette - a narrow waist and rounded breasts and hips - compared to the previous decade. The ideal of a taller, slim figure is achieved by the cut of the dress, which gently hugs the contours of the body down to the ankles. Minimalist dresses, whose attractiveness lies "only" on the luxurious silk fabric and perfect cut, testify to the owner's refinement and taste. To fit the body perfectly, in the 1930s, the dress was cut in a bias cut, where the cut pieces are laid diagonally on the fabric. This dress came from the estate of Bohuslav ("Bohuš") Rieger Jr., who was a diplomat during the First Republic. Until 1948 he owned the Maleč castle. Andrea Malinovská restored it together with other garments from the collections of the Moravian Gallery in 2019-2020.
